Quote a couple of spoiler-free sentences from the book you’re reading to tempt others.
"The tarpaulin around the bog child was pinned down. The place had an expectant feel to it. The archaeologists were on their way and the girl inside was waiting."

Ooh, I really want to read this one. I like Siobhan Dowd immensely.
I'm really enjoying it.
I haven't read any of her other books.
I really want to read this! Looking forward to your review.
I don't think it will take me long to read as whizzing through it so look expect the review in the coming days (I have no backlog of books to review, more's the pity).
Haven't heard of this one...sounds good!
JoAnn, I hadn't heard of this one either until the author was posthumously awarded the Carnegie Medal for it (a prize for outstanding Children's or YA book). So far I am loving it and didn't expect it to be political but it is.
Bog Child... what a brilliant title for a book!
I love the title :). It's completely literal: the book is about the discovery of a dead child in a bog and the impact that has on the boy who found her.
Oh, you couldn't put down a book after reading something like that could you. Excellent choice!
Darlene, I could barely put it down and finished it quickly!
