Tuesday Teaser and Trivia

A few Christmases ago my boyfriend bought me the Book Lovers Edition of Trivial Pursuit and I thought I could virtually play with my fellow book lovers, or at least ask you a weekly literary question. So here goes (if you win then please treat yourself to a slice of pie/cake/pizza/delete where appropriate)...

From the Non-Fiction section:

What straightforward title did New York Times science writer Natalie Angier give to her best-selling "intimate geography" of the female body?

Quote a couple of spoiler-free sentences from the book you’re reading to tempt others.

"I had no sense of foreboding, when we sat talking together that last evening, before Ambrose set out on his final journey. No premonition that we would never be together again."
From My Cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Maurier p. 8

Mrs. B, as soon as I read those lines I knew that I had to use them as a teaser.

Eva, I collected my requested copy from the library yesterday! That's it finally arrived after requesting it when I read your review. I knew you would be the first to guess!

JoAnn, I've been side-tracked by another book just now but looking forward to returning to it.

Jill, it's on my TBR shelf too! Well, they both are.

Jenny, me too! I have a copy now on loan so it's only a matter of time...

anothercookie, I've been side-tracked by a newly published book that I have been counting down the days to read but I'm looking forward to returning to My Cousin Rachel.

I think I'll avoid that Trivial Pursuit edition - I am really bad at it!

Ha! To be fair, it is North American and, in that respect, can be quite niche. Remember that I am only asking questions that I know the answers to myself and it can take me a few cards to find one!

lol-now I'm suddenly petrified that you won't like it and you'll think I have horrible taste. This always happens to me when a blogger actually reads a book because of a review I wrote.

Ha, Eva, I'm sure that will not be the case. Or if it is, I'll simply be in awe of your intelligence and ashamed at my not "getting" it!
