Oscar Wilde looks rather unfriendly in that picture. I've always steered clear of Madame Tussaud's because I'm afraid it would be creepy - was it creepy?

is it me or does Oscar Wilde look uncannily like Rupert Everett?!

Lovely photos Claire! You look so delighted to be in such illustrious company!

Not sure Oscar Wilde is gripped by your company Claire!

Ha! At first I thought these were look-alike actors and was really impressed... and now that I know they are not, well, I'm still pretty impressed! I guess they do look quite lifelike!

Jenny, he does look rather aloof.
I was scared as a child by the movie Waxworks/House of Wax but these aren't too creepy, if uncannily realistic at times.

Rachel, he does! Although do you mean before or after the awful plastic surgery?!

I was thoroughly delighted and my sister was somewhat confused (there was a definite generation gap between us).

Verity, no, he wasn't. I think he was too busy intentionally ignoring Prince Harry who is standing behind him.

Steph, they are very lifelike!

Simon, I visited around four years ago and didn't take photos with ANYONE and that defies explanation.

JoAnn, I was ridiculously excited!

Wow! That's really impressive, I too thought they were stage actors. What fun!

I can't believe you went to Madame Tussaud's!!! I have purposely stayed clear of it for 11 years and counting. Hehehe.

In my defence, Kim, I went with my 12 year old sister who has never visited London before! She loved it :).
